All our products are free from artificial colours or flavours and from common allergens including gluten, dairy, egg, peanuts, soybeans and animal products. Our oral powders are also free from preservatives.

Our topical skincare products are free from synthetic or potentially toxic ingredients including silicones, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, BPA, MIT, triclosan, glycols, PEGs, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, and genetically modified organisms.

Can I take In-Flow PMS & Period Relief whilst I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

As with any herbal medicines or supplements, we suggest you speak with your healthcare professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before you take either of our supplements.

Can I take your supplements whilst on other medications such as the contraceptive pill or IUD?

Our formulations are designed for daily use in order to support hormonal balance and overall well-being.

We are currently unaware of any harmful interactions between In-Flow PMS & Period Relief and oral contraceptives, IUDs or other medications.

However, if you are using any of these, we do recommend discussing it with your health professional before taking our products.

Can your supplements help with endometriosis or PCOS?

You are not alone, many women suffer the pain of endometriosis or PCOS.  Our products are designed to relieve menstrual pain and support hormonal balance. However Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) are medical conditions. If you suffer from either of these you should consult a qualified health care professional for advice and support.

How do I know ashaya products are safe and effective?

Our In-Flow PMS & Period Relief Oral Powder and Re-Glow Perimenopause Relief Oral Powder are Listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), which regulates all medicines within Australia. The TGA is internationally recognised for applying the world’s highest standards of quality, safety and efficacy to complementary medicines. This means that:

  • Every ingredient included has been assessed and approved by the TGA as safe for consumer use;
  • Our doses comply with the safe and effective ranges given in clinical trials and textbooks;
  • Our technical and scientific team holds abundant evidence supporting every claim we make;
  • The products are manufactured in Australia in leading facilities approved and licensed by the TGA  and fully compliant with the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

    However it is important to keep in mind that everyone is different, and no medicine, not even prescription medications, can be guaranteed to work for everyone.
How do I store your products and what is the shelf life?

We package all our products in dark amber glass which helps protect the ingredients against light.

We strongly recommend that your store them in a cool and preferably dark place, below the temperature of 25ºC.

All our products are clearly marked with an expiry date. However, as there are no preservatives in our oral powders, for best results we suggest using them within 6 months of opening the containers.

How soon will I start to see the benefits of taking your supplements?

Some of the ingredients in our formulas are quite fast-acting, for example calming and relaxing Chamomile and Lemon Balm in In-Flow which can  have effects the same day. Similarly, the Hops in Re-Glow can improve sleep in as little as a few days.

Generally speaking, most herbal and nutritional supplements start to show effects in a week or two, and provide noticeable benefits after a month. According to clinical trials, the full effects are usually evident by the third month.

However, everyone is a little different so some individuals respond very quickly, and others more slowly. Consistency is key so it is
important to take our supplement daily for optimal results.

As with any herbal medicine, lifestyle factors will also impact your results. ashaya is inspired by the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, a holistic philosophy grounded in the belief that health and wellness is a delicate balance between the mind, body and spirit. Each range is designed to be a daily self-care ritual for women, intended to bring a sense of calm and balance.  The application a face oil with a traditional Ayurvedic tool (the Kansa Wand), the relaxing ritual of massaging your skin with a body oil, all help to create more balance and relaxation in your life.

For optimal results it is also important to eat healthy food  appropriate for your body-type and season, exercise regularly and practice daily meditation or mindfulness techniques.

If you notice an increase in the severity or regularity of any PMS or perimenopausal symptoms, we recommend you contact your healthcare professional.

What is the best way to take your supplements?

Our supplements can be taken any time of the day, at your convenience. Many consumers find that doing this as part of the daily breakfast ritual is an easy method. You can take our supplements with or without food.

We do recommend taking the supplements with food for two reasons:

  • Food stimulates the digestive processes, so that the herbal extracts and nutrients are absorbed more efficienty into the body.
  • For some people, taking supplements on an empty stomach can cause nausea or discomfort. Taking them after a meal can prevent this.

You can mix one 4-gram scoop of powder into a glass of warm or cold water, a juice of your choice, or a smoothie.
