What do we do with your information?

How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at info@ashaya.com.au. However, please note that where you withdraw your consent, some of our features and functionality will be unable to be provided such as order history suggestions and personalised suggestions. 

 

Sharing information with Affiliates and Other Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or otherwise your Personal Information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may provide your personal information to affiliates that provide services to us such Shopify, payment processors, Website hosting companies). We will only share with our affiliates as much information as necessary to provide the services to you.

 

Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our Products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

 

Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. How can customers ensure the accuracy and rectification of their Personal Information?
When Personal Information is provided to us by you, you warrant that the Personal Information given is accurate, current and complete and undertake to maintain the accuracy, currency and completeness of the Information which we retain. You also warrant that you have authority to provide this Personal Information to us.

Registered customers can view and alter the Personal Information they have provided by logging in with their username and password and accessing their account information.

 

Can I order anonymously?
As ashaya requires a physical address to deliver parcels to and a signature on delivery, anonymity cannot be assured. Customers may use a pseudonym for the purpose of registering for marketing information only.

How can I be removed from your database?
If at any stage a ashaya customer would like their Personal Information removed from our database, we require an email with the username, password and identifying information and the customers file will be deleted from our records. Please send to info@ashya.com.au.
